Dragons Forever

The owner of a factory dumping chemical waste hires a lawyer to make the case go away. Trying to influence the woman bringing the suit, the lawyer draws in two old friends, and all three lose track of whose side they are on. The film gets its humour from the three obstructing each other; the narrative is kept simple and the weight is on the fight design. The factory fight in the final section is counted among the most intense work the three prepared together. Sammo Hung directed and stars, with Jackie Chan and Yuen Biao; it is remembered as the last film the three made together. Who it's for: those who like Hong Kong action comedy. Who it's not for: viewers looking for story; the script is the connective tissue between fights.
