What Warriors Two Is About
A town in Fatshan. Cashier Wah, who works in a money exchange, hears a local strongman's plan to kill the mayor and take the town. When he tries to warn people he is beaten and his mother is killed. Half dead, he ends up at the door of Leung Jan, the town's doctor and a Wing Chun master. Wah wants to learn; Leung Jan refuses at first. Then the training starts: stance, centre line, close range. By the day of the reckoning Wah is another man. Sammo Hung directs; ninety-five minutes, with Bryan Leung as Leung Jan and Casanova Wong as Wah, and Hung himself in the film. Leung Jan was a real Wing Chun master. This counts as one of the first films to take the style seriously on screen.
