What Fearless Hyena Is About
Lung is talented and lazy, and goes on street fighting and gambling despite his grandfather’s explicit ban. What he does not know is that a brutal general has spent years killing everyone left from his grandfather’s clan. When the general recognises the style Lung uses in a street fight, he tracks the old man down and kills him. What is left is an angry young man whose training was never finished, and who needs a new master before he can take revenge. Jackie Chan’s first film as director, where he tests his combination of fighting and comedy on his own terms.
