Labyrinth

The story turns around the Arian sect. In the third century that sect seriously shook the foundations of the Christian world. It is known that they had a stronghold in this region, between the towns of Sirmium and Belgrade. The film draws a link between the present and that past. The account moves as a mystery and as a search for roots at once. The work’s case is that the roots of today’s questions reach far back; that assessment is the film’s own. How faith and history get told is the real subject. The hundred and fifteen minutes are divided between two times. Dragan Nikolić and Maja Sabljić appear in Miroslav Lekić’s Yugoslav film, completed in 2002.
