What Little Giant Is About
Lou Costello plays a naive country vacuum cleaner salesman and Bud Abbott the crook running the company he works for. To keep him in hand, Abbott persuades Costello that he is a brilliant salesman. William A. Seiter's 1946 comedy is unlike the pair's usual pictures: Abbott and Costello share very little screen time and there is almost none of the vaudeville routine work. That leaves it functioning more as a character comedy. A surprise for anyone expecting the classic double act, and an easier watch for anyone who wants a story to follow.
