Load Wedding

Raja runs a small wedding decoration shop in a country town. He has loved Meerab since childhood. But something stands between him and marriage. His elder sister is still unmarried. Suitors are asking for a large dowry. The family cannot raise that money. Custom requires the elder sister to be married before him. So Raja waits. Meanwhile Meerab marries someone else. Her husband dies in the opening days of the marriage. Meerab is left a widow. Raja says he wants to marry her. The film is built on wedding expense and the practice of dowry. Social pressure is the real subject of the story. The telling moves between comedy and drama. Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat appear in the one hundred twenty minute film, a Pakistani production Nabeel Qureshi finished in 2018.
