Na Maloom Afraad

An incident draws three men who do not know one another into the same story. Each is making his own calculations, chasing his own ambition and short of money; what they share is that they act without thinking. When they come together the plan they make proceeds with the same carelessness, and as the business grows it becomes unclear who has done what. The film makes its comedy out of daily life in Karachi and out of a sense of insecurity in the city. It came to be counted among the examples of the popular vein that has revived in Pakistani cinema in recent years. The account puts none of the three in the right; nobody’s plan stays in his own hands to the end. Fahad Mustafa plays the lead in Nabeel Qureshi’s hundred and thirty seven minute Pakistani film, completed in 2014.
