Lost For Lost

Vidal is on the edge of bankruptcy. He sets up a fake car robbery with a small time mobster, meaning to collect the insurance and split it. But as the plan runs, his tie to the mob becomes dangerous. An insurance investigator with no regard for the rules gets into it and starts turning the file over. At some point the investigator strikes a deal with Vidal, and with his wife the three of them end up on the same side. The aim is to bring down the mob and to expose the corruption tying a senior executive to it. The film tells how one small swindle opens the door onto a much larger order. Ricardo Darín and Enrique Pinti appear in Alberto Lecchi’s ninety three minute Argentine film, completed in 1993.
