Love and Shukla

Shukla is a newly married man. He makes his living driving a rickshaw in the city. His family arranged the marriage. His wife Lakshmi is painfully shy. The two can barely speak to each other. A large family lives in the same house. They have no room of their own. Nothing is left of privacy. The family does not understand that need. Shukla asks his friends for advice. What they tell him makes matters worse. Shame and pressure build up. The two of them keep trying to reach each other. The film tells it with a soft humour. Saharsh Kumar Shukla and Taneea Rajawat appear in the one hundred seventeen minute film, an Indian production Jatla Siddartha finished in 2017.
