Love At Least

For Yasuko getting through the day is a matter in itself. Because of hypersomnia and her mental health, even housework or holding down a job looks out of reach. The boyfriend she lives with is indifferent and keeps his distance. There is also his former girlfriend, who has a plan to win him back and comes into Yasuko’s life. The film tells Yasuko through her daily state rather than through a diagnosis. The account also takes up loneliness in the city and the dependence between two people. Riisa Naka and Tetsushi Tanaka are also in the cast. Shuri and Masaki Suda take the leads in Kosai Sekine’s Japanese film of 2018.
