Emma J. Hawkins What Love Never Dies Is About
Ten years have passed since the events at the Paris Opera House. The Phantom has fled to New York and made a place for himself among the rides and the freak shows of Coney Island. The one thing his music still lacks is Christine Daaé. To win her back he draws Christine, her husband Raoul and their young son Gustave out of Manhattan and into his world, and none of the three has any idea what is waiting. This is Andrew Lloyd Webber's sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, recorded from the Australian production staged in Melbourne in 2011, directed for the stage by Simon Phillips and for the screen by Brett Sullivan. Ben Lewis is the Phantom, Anna O'Byrne is Christine.
