Love Punjab

A child is not feeling well. At home his parents argue constantly. The tension weighs on him. He closes up, stops talking, wants nothing. The family goes to a doctor. The doctor makes an unusual suggestion. Take the boy to his father’s home region, he says. The family travels to Punjab. There is a wide circle of relatives there. In the village the days pass differently. The boy slowly begins to open up. His parents look at their own past as well. They see what the life they built abroad has left out. The film tells this between comedy and family drama. Amrinder Gill and Sargun Mehta appear in the hundred and twenty nine minute film, an Indian production Rajiv Dhingra finished in 2016.
