Maa Inti Bangaram

B. V. Nandini Reddy's 2026 Telugu film follows a woman under threat. Moments of fear and moments of courage follow one another, and the film gives both the same weight. The argument is that vulnerability is not weakness. In getting herself out, she does not step into a ready-made heroic shape; she makes mistakes, retreats and tries again. Samantha Ruth Prabhu leads, opposite Gulshan Devaiah. The tension is built inside the house and in narrow spaces. The action is kept limited. Who it's for: viewers of women-centred Telugu thrillers. Who it's not for: viewers expecting constant action; this film builds tension through waiting.
