Manu Uncle

A group of children witness a robbery at a museum. What is stolen is a sword. Nobody quite believes them. The children decide to sort it out themselves. A man called Manu joins them. The children call him Uncle Manu. Together they go after the thieves. Following the trail turns out harder than they expected. The people they are up against are not amateurs. As the investigation goes on, something else surfaces. This is not simply a stolen sword. The film was built as an adventure and a family picture at once. The children stay at the centre of it. Mammootty and Lissy appear in the hundred and twenty three minute film, an Indian production Dennis Joseph finished in 1988.
