What Mardock Scramble: The First Compression Is About
Sixty-nine minutes of animation and the first part of a three-film series; the story does not end here, it is only starting. Rune Balot is a young woman working the streets of Mardock City. Shell, who runs a casino, takes her in and gives her a new life and a new past; when she becomes curious about why and looks into it, he tries to burn her to death in her car.
