Marvin & Tige

Marvin is a widower. He drinks heavily and does not look after himself. One day he comes across a boy called Tige. The boy is eleven and has no parents. He has nowhere else to go. Marvin takes him into his house. A close bond forms between the two of them. Marvin thinks about adopting the boy. He knows his own situation, though. He is poor and cannot give him a good home. Then he learns something. Tige’s father is alive and is a wealthy man. The man does not even know the boy exists. Marvin has a hard decision to make. John Cassavetes and Billy Dee Williams appear in the hundred and four minute film, an American production Eric Weston finished in 1985.
