What Mia Martini - I Am Mia Is About
The life of the Italian singer Mia Martini, told around an interview she gave late in her career. Martini had enormous success in the seventies and was then pushed out of the music world by a rumour that she brought bad luck, which kept her off stage for years. The film shows both that exclusion and her return, and presents the woman behind the songs before she became a legend. Directed by Riccardo Donna, with Serena Rossi as Martini, singing the songs herself. Martini died in 1995.
