What Mr. Destiny Is About
Larry Burrows is unhappy with his life and blames one moment for all of it: the swing he missed in a baseball game as a boy. One night he meets a stranger who can hand him the alternative he has always imagined, and he gets to live inside it. What he discovers is that the better life arrives with its own shortages and its own bills attached. Jim Belushi plays the ordinary man and Michael Caine the one making the offer, in a comedy that takes a familiar what if and runs it backwards.
