Mungaru Male

Preetham falls in love with Nandini, but her engagement has long since been settled and the wedding is being prepared. When he decides to withdraw, Nandini leaves him a challenge: if he loves her, let him win her heart. Preetham takes it up, and the story moves through the Karnataka countryside under the monsoon rains, among songs and comic situations; but because the engagement has not gone away, every step runs into the same wall. In Yogaraj Bhat’s hundred and forty three minute Kannada film, Ganesh plays Preetham and Pooja Gandhi plays Nandini, with Anant Nag in the cast. It was completed in 2006 and became the first film in India to be shown continuously in one cinema for more than a year.
