My wife went mad

Only two years into the marriage, Anna finds out that her husband Manos is cheating on her. To answer it she works out a plan. The plan is to behave as though she has lost her mind. The more the people around them believe it, the harder Manos’s position becomes. Anna is set on paying him back in the same coin. The film tells the infidelity not as a drama but as a game that has been set up. A woman using the one card she holds is the real idea. It comes from the popular comic vein of Greek cinema in 1966. Mary Aroni and Labros Konstadaras appear in Dimitris Nikolaidis’s ninety three minute Greek film, completed in 1966.
