Never on a Sunday

A middle class Mexican family is in mourning. They have a funeral to arrange. For that they engage a funeral home. The place does not have a good name. There does not seem to be another option. The arrangement is made. Then things go wrong. The man who owns the business is no ordinary man. The family finds itself in a situation it never expected. What looked like a simple transaction turns dangerous. The film tells it between comedy and drama. The business built around death is the subject itself. Humberto Busto, Silverio Palacios and Maya Zapata appear in the hundred and twenty five minute film, a Mexican production Daniel Gruener finished in 2006.
