What Night Call Is About
Mady is a student who works nights as a locksmith. He lets a woman into an apartment she has been locked out of, and it turns out the flat is not hers and what she takes from it belongs to a dangerous man. By morning both that man and the police want Mady, because his was the hand that opened the door. With protests filling the streets, he has one night to clear himself. Blanchart keeps it close to real time and films Brussels as a corridor with no exit.
