Ninnu Kori

Shiva Nirvana's 2017 Telugu film begins with a married woman inviting her former boyfriend into her home. Pallavi wants to prove she is happy; Uma tries to come between them and win her back, and the husband knows it. What stands out is writing the husband not as an obstacle but as the most mature figure in the story: Arun, played by Aadhi Pinisetty, shows no jealousy, and that choice breaks the Telugu template. Nani's character is plainly in the wrong and the film does not hide it. The story turns heavy in the second half and runs long. The music is strong. Who it's for: viewers who like Telugu romantic drama and love triangles. Who it's not for: anyone wanting a short narrative, or uncomfortable with a story in which the hero is wrong.
