What Okay Is About
Nete is thirty seven and runs her job, her husband and her teenage daughter with a firm and efficient hand. When her father suddenly falls seriously ill she pushes the doctor into telling her how long he has: three weeks, hardly more. He turns bitter and withdrawn, but Nete insists he spend what is left at her house. Three weeks pass, then a month, his appetite comes back and the doctors begin to doubt the diagnosis. Jesper W. Nielsen uses black comedy to show how preparing for a death brings a whole life to a halt.
