What Paul McCartney & Wings: One Hand Clapping Is About
A long-unseen record of sessions filmed at Abbey Road studios in August 1974. Paul McCartney and his band of the time, Wings, were filmed playing in the studio. The recording is not a concert. The band play the songs in studio arrangement, with passages in between where each member speaks about their musical background up to that point, and the film goes no further. The material went unreleased for years and reached circulation in 2024. Linda McCartney and Denny Laine appear. The audio is of studio quality. Who it's for: those curious about the Wings period and about studio recording. Who it's not for: viewers expecting documentary storytelling; the film is almost entirely performance.
