Pigs 2: The Last Blood

Franz Maurer is a former policeman. He served time for the brutality and the killings he committed while with the criminal department of the Warsaw police, and now he is out. His old colleague Nowy is waiting at the gate. Franz wants to go straight and takes hard work at a steel mill, but when he refuses to join the strike he is pushed out of there too. At the same time the war in Yugoslavia grinds on, and two senior officers arrive in Poland to set up a network running arms to Yugoslavia by way of Albania. Władysław Pasikowski directs, with Bogusław Linda as Franz and Cezary Pazura alongside him. It is a hard crime picture set in the Poland of the nineties, watching who the new order actually served.
