Play the Flute

A new youth pastor arrives at a church. His task is to work with the young people. But the group in front of him is unwilling. They come to the meetings and do not listen. Faith has become a habit for them. The young pastor wants to change that. He calls on them to read the scripture. The first response is indifference. In the group there is a boy who is bullied at school. And another whom nobody goes near. The story moves through those relationships. The film is openly a faith based production. Its audience is the church community. The account delivers a clear message at the end. Brett Varvel and Sean Ormond appear in the hundred and three minute film, an American production Rich Christiano finished in 2019.
