Musa Rami is a homicide detective and sixty-three years old. He has spent years going after the mafia, and the family known as the İzmitliler is threatening his own. He also has two private matters. The first is what he feels for Funda, a university student forty years younger than him, which he cannot say. The second is the news he gets on his birthday: cancer, two months. He tells nobody, and in the two months he has left he wants both to finish his work and to say the thing he has not said. Onur Ünlü directs the Turkish film; a hundred and ten minutes, with Haluk Bilginer as Musa Rami and Özgü Namal as Funda, and Ragıp Savaş and Settar Tanrıöğen in the cast. It is among Ünlü's first features. It uses the shape of a crime film, but what it is about is how a man who knows he is dying spends the time he has.
