Real Pests!

Stebe is a bus driver in Ljubljana. He has lost his wife. He lives at home with his five sons. There is also Rozi. Rozi keeps the house. The boys are up to mischief without a stop. Rozi gets her share of it and so does the neighbourhood. One day Rozi can take no more. She decides to leave and she leaves. And yet she is fond of the boys. Before long her niece Meri arrives. Meri is looking for work in town. She cannot manage the kitchen as well as her aunt. Even so she settles into the house quickly. Tone, a colleague of Stebe’s, takes an interest in Meri. The boys are put out by that. Bert Sotlar and Dare Valic take the leads in Joze Bevc’s Yugoslav film of 1977.
