Rockin' on Heaven's Door

Choong-Ui is a well known young man who keeps getting into trouble. He falls foul of the law. Instead of a sentence he is given volunteer work. The place he is sent to is a hospice for the terminally ill. On top of that it is about to be closed down. Choong-Ui takes the work without wanting it. He starts spending time with the people there. The patients have dreams they never finished. Choong-Ui sets about helping them with those. Those two sides are what the story is built on. His own old wounds open up while he does it. That is where his reckoning with himself begins. The threat hanging over the hospice stays in the story too. The film is filed as both a comedy and a drama. Lee Hong-gi and Baek Jin-hee appear in the ninety nine minute film, a South Korean production Nam Taek-soo finished in 2013.
