What Run, Man, Run Is About

Cuchillo is a thief with quick hands and a talent for throwing knives. He is believed to know where a hoard of gold is hidden, gold that could finance the Mexican Revolution, so everyone is after him: bandits, American agents, a sheriff turned bounty hunter, and his own fiancée. Cuchillo is less interested in who ends up with the gold than in staying alive. The revolution pushes him somewhere anyway. Sergio Sollima's film is treated as a sequel to The Big Gundown, which had the same character. Tomas Milian plays Cuchillo again and Ennio Morricone wrote the score. It is one of the lighter, more comic entries in the political spaghetti western.
