Sambhavam Adhyayam Onnu

Sambhavam Adhyayam Onnu, written and directed by Jithu Satheesan Mangalathu, is a time loop themed mystery thriller that opened on March 6, 2026. The film follows three Kerala police officers who venture into the mysterious Velloorkkatt forest on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border searching for a missing colleague, encountering strange time phenomena. Starting modestly with 80 theaters and no major star cast or promotional budget, the film expanded to 150 screens on the strength of positive word of mouth, grossing roughly 66.3 million rupees worldwide. It became available to stream on Jio Hotstar on April 15, 2026. Who it's for: anyone curious about a new Malayalam time loop mystery that expanded its theatrical run through word of mouth rather than a big promotional budget. Who it's not for: viewers wanting a star studded, heavily promoted production, since this is a modest film that grew on its own strength.
