Seasons of Our Love

Vittorio is a journalist of forty. He is stuck in the middle of his life. His wife accuses him of paying no attention. He keeps a distance from his child as well. Around this time his lover leaves him. Vittorio decides to travel. He goes to the town where he spent his childhood. There he thinks over his past. His relations with his parents come back to him. So do the marks left by the war years. The flashbacks run into the present. Enrico Maria Salerno and Anouk Aimée take the leads, with Gian Maria Volonté also in the cast, in Florestano Vancini’s Italian film of 1966.
