SEE HEAR LOVE

Shinji Izumoto draws manga for a living. He has signed a deal for a film. It should be a time to celebrate. But his sight is failing. At the same time his series is cancelled. He can no longer care for the grandmother who depends on him. He feels entirely alone. He tries to jump from a balcony. Hibiki Aida stops him at that moment. Hibiki is a deaf woman. She is also a reader of his work. The two of them begin living together. One cannot see and the other cannot hear. They find their own ways of reaching each other. The film tells that shared life as a romantic drama. Tomohisa Yamashita and Yuko Araki appear in the one hundred thirty two minute film, a Japanese production John H. Lee finished in 2023.
