Seven Sinners

Ed Harwood is a private detective from New York. At a hotel in Nice, during a carnival, he comes upon a crime. He works out that something larger lies behind it. A woman called Caryl Fenton, an insurance agent, joins him. The two of them set off on the trail. The road leads first to Paris, then to London. From there it goes to the English countryside and finally to Southampton. The man they are after is one who wrecks trains. A body that disappears is part of it too. Henry Oscar and Felix Aylmer are also in the cast. Edmund Lowe and Constance Cummings take the leads in Albert de Courville’s British film of 1936.
