Soldier's Lullaby

Stevan Jakovljevic is a biology teacher. He fought in the Serbian army in the First World War. Twenty years have gone by. The anniversary of the end of the war is to be marked. On the same day an ossuary is opened. The ceremony is in the village where he once served. Stevan travels there. In the village he finds only his old commander. The two of them begin to talk. The talk turns back to the past. The story of the Fifth Artillery Battery is told. The unit had been disbanded in that very village. The account moves through flashbacks. Marko Pavlovski and Nenad Okanovic are in the cast as well. Ljubomir Bandovic and Marko Vasiljevic take the leads, with Vuk Jovanovic also in the cast, in Predrag Antonijevic’s Serbian film of 2018.
