Nato is a student at university. She meets two children in the street. They are a brother and a sister. Nato becomes friends with them. But she does not know the background. Their father has just parted from his wife. The reason was that she could not get on with the children. After a while Nato meets the man. The two of them fall for each other. But the relationship does not last long. One day he runs into his former wife. He then goes back to her. So he leaves both Nato and the children. Nato wants to walk away as well. But she sees she cannot leave the children on their own. Tsitsino Tsitsishvili and Otar Koberidze take the leads in Tengiz Abuladze’s Georgian film of 1958.
