What Sorry Angel Is About
Paris at the start of the nineties. Jacques, a writer approaching forty, and Arthur, a student only just beginning, meet by chance, and what starts as something casual becomes a bond that alters both of them. Christophe Honoré is writing about a period when AIDS had become an ordinary part of daily life, but he refuses to reduce the film to an illness: the real question here is how a person falls in love inside a life whose ending is already visible. Long, talkative and full of books. Pierre Deladonchamps and Vincent Lacoste take the leads.
