What Streaker Is About
A schoolteacher in financial trouble decides he has found a shortcut to money: streakers running onto the pitch and illegal sports betting. The plan is as absurd as it is difficult to carry out. Peter Luisi's 2017 Swiss comedy gets its humour not from indecency but from entirely serious people committing themselves to a ridiculous enterprise. Beat Schlatter leads. School, football and small town morality all get gently mocked at once, and what comes out is a comedy that humiliates nobody and lets nobody win very much either.
