What Sundarapandian Is About
Sundarapandiyan has finished school and spends his time knocking about the village with his friend Murugesan. When Arivazhagan asks him to help win Archana over, he steps in and takes the job seriously. But Archana turns down both Arivazhagan and another suitor, Bhuvaneshwaran. The real trouble starts after that: she says she has been in love with Sundarapandiyan for a long time, and he finds himself caught between her and his friend. The film weighs village life, friendship and a promise given on the same scale. M. Sasikumar and Vijay Sethupathi appear in S. R. Prabhakaran’s hundred and forty minute Tamil film, completed in 2012.
