The documentary tells the rise of the band Kings of Leon. The three brothers who founded it and their cousin spent their childhood going from church to church because their father was a Pentecostal preacher; there was no money, and the travelling was done sleeping in a car. The film shows the distance between that past and the fame that came later through the large family gathering held every year at Talihina, in Oklahoma. Home video and backstage footage come in between. The account does not hide the tensions in the family either. Stephen C. Mitchell’s eighty seven minute American documentary was completed in 2011.
