Tere Bin Laden

Ali Hassan reports for a downmarket television channel in Karachi and wants one thing: to get to America. His visa has been refused six times in seven years. In desperation he finds a man who looks like Osama bin Laden, fakes a tape and sells it to the channel's owner, planning to buy an identity and a passport with the money. Once the tape airs, American intelligence and local powers both arrive, and it gets away from him. Abhishek Sharma's film makes fun of the panic around terrorism. Pakistan's censor board banned it on security grounds, and several Middle Eastern countries did the same. Ali Zafar leads.
