What The 47 Is About
Barcelona at the end of the seventies. Torre Baró sits at the top of the city, a neighbourhood immigrants built with their own hands, where no bus runs and which the council barely admits exists. People have spent years writing petitions and attending meetings and being put off. Manolo Vital, a bus driver, finally stops petitioning and does something else: he takes the number 47 bus and drives it all the way up into the neighbourhood, to prove the road goes there.
