The Bad Guys 2

The reformed Bad Guys are trying to fit into society and failing. Things change when they are framed for crimes committed by someone called the Phantom Bandit: they are kidnapped by an all-female crew led by a snow leopard named Kitty Kat. Forced to steal an experimental rocket, they uncover the plan behind it, to steal the world's gold using rare materials from the International Space Station. Pierre Perifel directed for DreamWorks Animation. It is the sequel to the 2022 film. Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Awkwafina and Craig Robinson return. Danielle Brooks, Natasha Lyonne and Maria Bakalova join them. Daniel Pemberton writes the score again. It opened in Argentina on 24 July 2025 and in the United States on 1 August 2025. It beat expectations at the box office: 22.2 million dollars domestically on its opening weekend, 82.8 million domestically in total and 240 million worldwide. Eighty-eight percent of 114 Rotten Tomatoes reviews are positive, and audiences gave it an A on CinemaScore, the same grade as the first film.
