What The Dinner Is About
Two brothers and their wives meet at the same restaurant every month: one a well-known criminal lawyer, the other a paediatrician; the wives do not much like each other but the ritual continues. Then the two families' teenage children do something terrible together and security camera footage of it appears. The real question is not with the children but at the table: will the parents protect them, or let them face what they did? Adapted from Herman Koch's novel, which has been filmed in other countries too. De Matteo lets nobody off.
