Luigi Lo Cascio

Luigi Lo Cascio stands in our catalogue with thirteen films spread between 2000 and 2022. The David di Donatello archive gives him two awards, the leading category at the 2001 ceremony for One Hundred Steps, from 2000, and the supporting category at the 2020 ceremony for The Traitor, from 2019. The film at the head of his catalogue by vote is the one behind that second award. The institution made him a nominee in other years besides, one of those in 2013 in the first-film directing category, although our catalogue writes him no directing credit whatever. The oldest work he has here is the one that brought the first award.
