The Life I Want

Stefano is an experienced actor. Laura is young and ambitious, still at the start. The two of them are cast as the leads in the same film. A relationship builds between them over the shoot. But Laura’s career begins to open up quickly. Stefano is unsettled by it and a jealousy grows in him. The film tells the acting profession and what that profession does to a person together. What happens on set and what happens in life keep running into each other. The hundred and twenty five minutes cover a period of filming. Luigi Lo Cascio and Sandra Ceccarelli appear in Giuseppe Piccioni’s Italian and German coproduction of 2004.
