The Farm in the Small Marsh

War reaches a small village in Vojvodina. From outside the village looks calm. The partisans use it without drawing attention. One day the Germans march a group of hostages through it. On the way they mistreat a small boy. The boy decides to answer back. He sets fire to the German grain store. An officer comes from the city to investigate. Šicer is shrewd and careful. It does not occur to him that he faces a group of boys. He has every man in the village taken into custody. He announces that one will be shot each day unless the culprit comes forward. Milan and Vaso act together with the other children. They make contact with the partisans. The film tells the war through the eyes of children. Slavko Štimac and Miodrag Radovanović appear in the one hundred twenty six minute film, a Yugoslav production Branko Bauer finished in 1976.
