What The Full Moon Is About
The story is set in Lucknow. There are three childhood friends. One is Aslam. One is Nawab Pyare Miyan. The third is Shaida. One day the Nawab sees a woman at the market. Her name is Jameela. He sees her only for a moment. Women there keep their faces covered. The Nawab falls for her. Aslam loves the same woman. Neither friend knows about the other. The misunderstandings grow. A choice opens up between friendship and love. Guru Dutt produced the film. He also plays Aslam. It did well at the box office. Waheeda Rehman, Rehman and Johnny Walker appear in the hundred and sixty nine minute film, an Indian production M. Sadiq finished in 1960.
