The Garden of Eden

Toni Le Brun is a young singer from Vienna. She sets out to try her luck. She finds work at a nightclub in Monte Carlo. There she comes under the protection of the wardrobe mistress. The woman is not what she appears to be. She turns out to be a baroness travelling incognito. The two of them start moving together. Toni enters a new circle. There she meets a man named Richard. The two of them fall in love. They begin preparing to marry. Then a doubt takes hold of Toni. She comes to believe he wants the money her new title brings rather than her. The truth does not stay hidden for long. Corinne Griffith and Louise Dresser appear in the seventy six minute film, an American production Lewis Milestone finished in 1928.
